a post, & a tweet

from my best friend who likes boys with 'sam' in their names
yet am still waiting for a letter she promised me

from my idol, whom I adore very much indeed
a meaningful gift to me

told ya I'm happy in January
especially on the 25th :)

a blow of wishes :)

I've been following DianaRikasari's blog for a while mostly bcos she has her own unique style of fashion. Her style is brave & bold, and I love how she mix & matches clothes that are in her wardrobe.

But the thing that I want to share with you issss, she wished me Happy Birthday on my birthday!
It put a smile on my face :) She's just an awesome person, really nice & positive. Even though it's only a wish, but from someone that is out of my league, it's just awesome :))

and quoting from one of her recent post;

" This does not mean I am picky. I am selective. Being picky sounds more negative, somehow implying that we choose only to make friends with people that share the same social status, education level, religion, or race. And I don't. I do, however, select people who I know do not carry a bad influence, and bring positive energy for me in any possible way. " -DR

Using the word 'selective' does put a different perspective on things, and I'm trying to head that way, which is looking at things from the other side.

However, I am very grateful to all my friends who wished me. Thank u for the wonderful wishes :)

Thank you Asyraf.

& Thank you Allah :)

my idol

I've been looking for someone to look at as my fashion icon, and I guess I've found her.
Hana Tajima, a very beautiful girl. What's more, she's a designer.

She's also slender, and her fashion style, aiyaiyai absolute gorgeous. Effortless yet on-the-dot I would say.

She wears it all nicely

She's wearing a jumpsuit, a clothing piece not many can pull off

tiramisu recipe

A recipe I created myself from combining a few recipes, the simplest steps & fewest ingredients.

Cake:-
4 eggs
150g caster sugar
100g plain flour

Cream:-
250ml whipping cream
250gm cream cheese
150gm caster sugar

to moisten & flavour the cake:- (mix all together in a cup)
1 sachet instant coffee/3 tbsp of nescafe or coffee
220ml warm water
1/2 tsp coffee emulco/coffee essence (optional, just to give it a bit more flavour)

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Steps:- (for the cake)
1. Grease a baking tin/ovenware & line the base with greaseproof paper. Heat the oven at 190C/375F.
2. Put the eggs & sugar in a bowl over a pot of simmering water. Make sure the bottom does not touch the water. Using an electric whisk, beat it until it turns pale & the mixture leaves a trail from the beaters when they are lifted.
3. Remove from the heat. Sift the flour into the bowl and fold in. Pour into the baking tin/ovenware. Bake for about 10-15mins or until risen & springy to touch.
4. Then cool it on a wire rack & remove the paper. After it is cool enough, slice the cake in half.

The eggs & sugar are pale after whisked

Remember to fold in the flour, do not whisk!

The baked cake, just nice -golden & risen

Steps:- (for the cream)
1. Put the cream cheese & sugar in a bowl then beat it with an electric whisk until soft.
2. Add in the whipping cream bit by bit. Beat it until stiff.

After the cream cheese has soften, add in the whipping cream

The cream: white & stiff

Finishing Steps:-
1. Clean your tray with a tissue, then lay the bottom layer of the cake. Pour half the coffee mixture on the cake. Make sure that it spreads & covers all of the cake.
2. Spoon half the cream mixture on the cake & spread it. Sprinkle some cocoa powder.
3. Put the other layer of cake on top and repeat the steps. Ensure that the cocoa powder covers the top layer of the cake. Cover & chill overnight (8hrs in refrigerator).

Half of the cake in the Pyrex dish

After pouring the coffee mixture (spread it on the cake)

The first layer (cake, coffee mixture, cream, cocoa)

It's done! Chill overnight

Done & ready to eat!

I hope you do try the recipe and give me feedback on how it tastes like :)

The Little Brown Monster Story
The Little Brown Monster & the Pink Plane

There was once a Little Brown Monster who is very hungry. He saw a pink plane and thought that it was his favourite strawberry ice-cream.

"Roar... Growl.. Hungggaarrreee!"

So he chased it...
"Aghh.. Me hungaree..!"

and managed to get nearer
"Yaa.. me eat stwaberry creammm"

Nonetheless,

the pink plane managed to fly off first.

Leaving the Little Brown Monster screaming!
"Aaaagaa... Nooooo... Stoppp! Me wan creammmm!"

THE END.

The Little Brown Monster & his strawberry ice-cream
